I have a question about the Portman Plaza Hotel and the Sheraton Hotel. Are these 2 hotels one and the same? I'm planning a visit to Ningbo and I've been considering these 2 hotels and I looked at both their websites. However, I find that the pictures of their rooms are the same.
Can someone please help me clarify? Thanks!

Yes, The Hotel Formerly Know As Portman (H.F.K.A.P) is now The Sheraton Hotel, but most people still call it the Portman, mainly because is so much easier to say it to the taxi drivers...

Esteban is roight roight... it's also easier if the Hilton is actually being built... since their pronounciation in Mandarin are ridiculously similar thanks for Cantonese speakers polluting the airwaves.
Take that GUANDONG!

Being a team member of Sheraton Ningbo Hotel, let me clarify. Portman Plaza is composed by 5 parts. And Sheraton Ningbo Hotel is one of them. Last year in December, re-branded as Sheraton Ningbo Hotel, which is under Starwood Group Worldwide. Since then, we have been improving all the aspects. From our guest comments, we are the leading hotel in Ningbo. Welcome and share your true experience with your experience.
